Claude.ai

Valency Bond™ works with Claude.ai (opens in new tab) over MCP using OAuth. Valency is listed in the Claude connector directory, so adding it takes one click.

1. Open Valency in the Claude connector directory and click Add. If the button reads Sign in to add, sign in to Claude first.

2. Sign in with Google or email when prompted

   Note

   A Valency account is created automatically the first time you sign in. The email you use does not have to match the email on your Claude account.

3. Start a new conversation and ask (more prompt ideas):

   Use Valency to search for papers about climate change

You're connected

You see paper results and tool calls in Claude's response. You can also explicitly invoke Valency tool calls.

Enable tool permissions

To avoid approving each tool call individually, open the Valency connector settings and set Read-only tools to Always allow.
