FAQ
Do I need a Valency account?
Section titled “Do I need a Valency account?”Yes — you need to be set up first. If you haven’t been invited, sign up at app.valency.io.
Does my Valency email need to match my Claude or ChatGPT account?
Section titled “Does my Valency email need to match my Claude or ChatGPT account?”No. Your Valency account and your Claude Pro (or ChatGPT) account are completely separate. When the connector prompts you to sign in, sign in with whichever email you used to register at app.valency.io — even if that’s different from the email on your AI assistant account.
Do I need a token?
Section titled “Do I need a token?”No — every AI-client connection (Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Gemini) uses OAuth (sign-in). No token needed — only the direct API uses a bearer token.
Tokens are only required for Direct API integrations.
Which platform should I use?
